Opera della Luna’s continued mastery of comic operetta is presented at Celebrate Voice 2017 with two crazy operas in one unforgettable evening! Jeff Clarke’s universally acclaimed production of one-act operettas, Croquefer and L’ile De Tulipatan set the atmosphere crackling with razor sharp wit, a first-rate cast and hints of Blackadder & Monty Python styles. With the perfect balance of spoken and musical comedy, this accessible operetta will be accompanied by a professional chamber orchestra.
With some adult language, this outrageously witty production has been touring through 2016 and 2017 to rave reviews, and Celebrate Voice is thrilled to be hosting two performances at the Blackledge Theatre as part of the Festival.
'Irresistible high jinks. The Blackadder level of humour is perfectly pitched.' Daily Telegraph ****
