ABOUT CELEBRATE VOICE

Picture
Launched in 2013, Celebrate Voice brings together leading international singers and the Salisbury community with a diverse 10-day programme of inspiring celebrity performances, and uplifting singing events throughout October half term. Celebrate Voice was named 'The Pride of Wiltshire' in the Wiltshire Life Magazine awards, for its significant contribution to quality and community music making in the County.

Our international performers have sung at the world's leading venues: Royal Opera House, BBC Proms, Sydney Opera House, Metropolitan Opera, London's West End, Broadway, BBC Folk Awards, London Palladium, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and Glastonbury Festival, to name a few.

Not only do we present world class singers of diverse genres of music, we truly celebrate the community in which these performances happen. We create performances for vulnerable, older people who might ordinarily not have access to first-rate performances, we enable young adults with SEND to sing with our international opera casts, we provide interactive workshops for little ones and adults alike and we deliver a daytime programme for all ages.

Celebrate Voice was founded by singer, producer and vocal director Lynsey Docherty, to showcase the best voices in the industry and enable the Salisbury community to be part of an joyful celebration of the human voice.

Be part of something that involves your community!

The festival has a merry band of over 50 volunteers helping make this event happen. If you would like to join us, click on the Volunteer page to get in touch, or if you would like to contribute to our sustainability by becoming a Festival Friend and enjoying the associated benefits. We would love to hear from you!

Our business sponsorship package is now available to view. Please get in touch via the Contact page or click the email icon below to request more information to support Celebrate Voice.
