Completing the Mozart-Da Ponte trilogy in our 10th year, and celebrating our critically acclaimed flair for high-jinx comedic opera, Cosi Fan Tutte is this year’s sparkling opera production with a limited run of 3 performances.
Mozart’s masterpiece is a riveting tale of love and deception, mistaken identities and romantic intrigue. Immerse yourself in the captivating arias, intricate ensembles and witty plot as two couples navigate the challenges of fidelity and temptation. Along with laughter and lightheartedness, the opera offers glimpses into the complexity of human emotions and the universal truths that resonate across time.
Our leading performers bring this opera to life, with a brand new production by Fred Broom set in a 1950s holiday camp, and a nod of inspiration from Hi-de-Hi. With piano accompaniment by the inimitable Phillip Thomas (English National Opera, Royal Opera House, Cardiff Singer of the World), join us for an unforgettable evening filled with music, laughter, and timeless emotions.
