Our morning session explores healthy, confident singing through a wide range of repertoire and musical styles. Discover your voice, develop your technique and experience the sheer pleasure and wellbeing that comes from singing together.
After lunch, Bob Chilcott joins us to explore his uplifting Five Days that Changed the World, a vivid choral journey through five extraordinary moments in human history, before we bring the day together in an informal festival performance.
All levels of experience are warmly welcome. Some music-reading ability is helpful for the afternoon, but never essential — our friendly, supportive approach means we’ll make sure everyone can join in, feel confident and enjoy making music together.

'Bob Chilcott is a contemporary hero of British Choral Music' The Observer
Bob Chilcott is one of the UK’s leading choral composers and conductors, with a lifelong connection to singing through King’s College, Cambridge and twelve years as a member of The King’s Singers. He has conducted choirs in more than 30 countries and thousands of amateur singers, and is Principal Guest Conductor of the BBC Singers.
Robert Gildon is a professional baritone, vocal animateur and inspiring workshop leader who has worked with organisations including the Royal Opera House, English National Opera, Garsington Opera, Snape Maltings and Streetwise Opera. His work combines vocal technique, performance and storytelling with a particular passion for helping singers of all levels find a free, expressive and confident voice.
