Experience Sahaja Yoga meditation, connecting to your true self, your spiritual, deeper self in this guided Sahaja Yoga meditation with experienced yogis, Nelly Sanchez, Jaimé West and Linda Carride. All across the globe, many are seeking new sources of energy. Meanwhile, the most transformative energy of all is hiding in plain sight within us - natural, sustainable and infinitely renewable to restore balance and harmony.
This creative musical session is designed to get into a genuine meditative state which can be felt tangibly, using the voice as a tool which helps us to activate the central nervous system, experience a true state of yoga and feel joy. Through exploration of sounds of Indian notes (swaras), we will connect to our inner energy centres to find our natural state of being which exists in the present moment.
Down the ages music has always been the food for the soul. The Australian aborigines said, 'music is the soul speaking... it is the voice of the planet communicating with the universe'. Mahatma Ghandi put it as, 'the divine radio is always singing if we could only made ourselves ready to listen. But it is impossible to listen without silence'.
In India music is valued above all things. Ancient sages discovered 7 basic notes of the musical scale by listening to the sounds of nature and individual animals. In meditation we can feel how these 7 notes correspond to our seven chakras. When the frequency of the notes matches the frequency of the chakras, the centre becomes activated and strengthened. By singing or even listening to the notes we experience balance of centres - balance of our selves.
A relaxed, joyful session follow by refreshments.
Please note - this is a free session, which sells out every year. If you cannot attend after booking, we would very much appreciate that you let us know so that we can offer the place to another person.
