Following on from our inaugural Emerging Voices concert in 2023, Salisbury schools and music organisations nominate their most talented vocalists to feature on the main festival stage in celebration of gifted young musicians.
Acknowledging the need for providing performance experiences for young people, the show highlights the singers' individual talent whilst giving the opportunity to perform their chosen repertoire in front of a large, appreciative audience.
Following the concert, Celebrate Voice identifies young people for further performance opportunities, such as appearing at the festival's Christmas shows, or, if appropriate, roles within future opera choruses for the main productions.
This 70-min showcase serves to promote the remarkable talent of local students aged 12-20, features a broad range of styles, and promises an afternoon of inspirational entertainment from the future generation!
